Engineer, Quality Assurance (Shanghai)

Your tasks

  • Coordinate with the International Quality Management department to review and align product quality requirements with relevant regulations and the group requirement.
  • Communicate product quality requirements to stakeholders and ensure alignment with company procedures.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure projects meet technical milestones within agreed timelines. Conduct regular evaluations of suppliers and facilitate sharing sessions as needed
  • Conduct product preview, comparison, evaluation, and quality verification, including legal document and test report checking.
  • Verify and approve technical data related to labeling, instruction manuals, and artwork, ensuring compliance with specifications, relevant regulations, and the group requirements.
  • Develop quality control plans for specific production, support suppliers technically in the inspection process, and review pre-shipment inspection reports for shipment disposition.
  • Investigate claims and complaints related to quality issues, ensuring the implementation of corrective actions by suppliers, and conduct relevant analysis.
  • Conduct tasks following company SOP / WI, and perform other company related tasks assigned by the supervisor.
  • Providing onboard training for engineers, sharing knowledge, and coaching on new requirements or technical aspects to achieve company goals and drive continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives or specific projects involving cross-functional or cross-location stakeholders.

Your profile

  • Bachelor degree or above in related science and / or engineering areas;
  • 3 years working experience on quality assurance in trading or sourcing office, experience in testing or manufacturing is preferred.
  • Familiar with European directive / standard / policy, and good knowledge in DIY products.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management tools; Be experience in quality issue analysis and solving.
  • Strong time management and project monitoring skills.
  • Self-discipline, Self-motivated, responsible, well-organized, working passion and effective communication.
  • Collaborative team player under certain working pressure
  • Market sensibility and presentation capability
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Local language.
  • Good at office suite software, like MS office, Google Workspace etc.
  • Be willing to travel to suppliers or factories location.
